There is a story that tells of an architect talking with two bricklayers. He asks the first one what he is doing. The man responded, “I’m a bricklayer. I’m laying bricks.” When the second was asked what he was doing, he looked up to the sky and replied, “I’m building a Cathedral.”

I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been coaching my beautiful clients, creating content, and being with my family. I’ve been writing, but mostly for myself. A couple of months ago I felt a need, like we all do from time to time, to back off from social media and inboxes.

When clients first come to me for coaching, 9 times out of 10 it’s because the life they’re living isn’t measuring up to the life they dreamed of. This feeling of dissatisfaction may be similar in all of them, yet it shows itself in very different ways.
